Maybe you have family in town, or maybe you just need to get the kids outside. Either way, you need a hike that will be fun for the whole family! Some of the hikes on this list lean toward moderate difficulty, so be sure to read the full description before deciding which one is right for your group.
Michelin Man Saguaro

This segmented saguaro cactus is so rare, you may never see another like it. Connect to nearby trails in the Cave Creek Regional Park to make this easy hike longer.


Camp Creek Falls

Also known as Blue Wash Trail, this waterfall only runs after significant rainfall, but when it does, it’s a blast! Kids will love splashing in the water below the falls.
Sidewinder Trail

Shaka Cave

Get outstanding views of the surrounding desert from this peak, which (as its name suggests) stands apart from the surrounding mountains. Due to elevation gain, this hike is more moderate.
